Course description
Highfield e-learning Food Safety Level 2 course teaches the key principles of food safety. Empowering the knowledge and understanding needed to help pass a health and safety inspection. It is CPD accredited and written by one of the world’s leading food safety experts, Richard Sprenger. This course can be completed at a pace that suits you. 

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for anyone handling, cooking and preparing food. This includes kitchen staff, care staff, home bakery businesses, community volunteers and more.

Supervisors, managers and small business owners should be trained at Food Safety Level 3 standard.

Course duration
Completion of this course typically takes 4-6 hours, but can vary depending on your experience and preferred pace.

Employers are able to monitor the progress and level of understanding demonstrated by candidates using the Learning Management System.

Entry requirements
Food Safety Level 2 expands on what was learnt in Food Safety Level 1, although it is not a requirement that level 1 is taken prior to this course as long as you have a basic level of knowledge of food safety.

Assessment
Assessment for this course is in the form of a multiple-choice test at the end of the course. To pass the course learners must score 100%.

Certification
On completion of the course learners will receive an electronic certificate which can be printed.
