The Milwaukee MA871 Digital Brix Refractometer measures the refractive index to determine the % Brix of sugar in aqueous solutions. The refractive index of the sample is converted to % Brix concentration units.
The measurement technique and temperature compensation employ methodology recommended in the ICUMSA Methods Book (Internationally recognised body for Sugar Analysis).
Thousands of food and beverage professionals and hobbyists, from chefs and food quality professionals to brewers and winemakers, have moved to digital BRIX measurement from less accurate and less precise optical refractometers.
To fulfill your order as quickly and efficiently as possible, we sometimes will split your order into a number of different packages so that we could take advantage of the items in stock at different warehouses. Items you order from Complete Safety Supplies may sometimes be sent in more than one delivery. For example, you may receive multiple deliveries if your order contains an oversized item that needs to be dispatched separately. Regardless of the number of deliveries you receive, you'll only be charged the amount that was originally quoted to you at the time you placed your order. Orders will only receive one delivery charge.
